Imaging Materials

Hodogaya Chemical's latest organic synthesis technology creates state-of-the-art imaging materials. Our main product line consists of Charge Control Agents (CCA) for toners used specifically in copiers and printers, and Charge Transfer Materials (CTM) for organic photo conductors, which is the heart of electro photography.

OLED Materials

Organic Light Emitting Diode (OLED) is the most innovative flat screen display technology on the market today. Hodogaya Chemical has developed Hole Transporting Materials for OLED applications using our long experienced synthesis technologies cultivated by the production of ultra pure organic chemicals such as CTM, as well as molecule design technology supported by computer chemistry. Novel Electron Transporting Materials is also put into the market very recently, and other OLED materials such as emitters, host or dopant are under development. Our unique OLED materials will contribute to the achievement of long-life and high stability of OLED technology.

Agro-Science

Hodogaya Chemical produces safe and reliable agrochemical products using well established technologies that have been cultivated through our long history. We create environmentally friendly products using such processes as neutralization of irritating or harmful substances through admixture technologies, including multi-component herbicides especially for horticultural applications. We take pride in our top market share and excellent drug formulation technologies that keep ahead of market development. In addition, the project expanding with new technologies in the field of biological pesticides such as plant growth regulators.

Custom Manufacturing

Hodogaya Chemical takes great pride in our leading edge intermediates production technologies to provide the key components to pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, functional polymers, and electronics materials. At our state of the art facility in Nanyo, with our long experienced organic synthesis know-how and with a versatile phosgenation plant, we provide quick and unique, yet competitive answers to special requests from various fields of customers.

Dyes and Colors

Hodogaya Chemical has a wide range of dyestuffs arising from our long participation and substantial technology in the dyestuff industry. We provide basic dye which gives excellent performance for paper coloring, world famous Cathilon dye and organic soluble Spilon dye used in stationary applications and aluminum coloring. We provide safe and environmentally friendly products to meet ever expanding demands.

Food Additives

Hodogaya Chemical has been supplying food additives, such as food coloring for appetizing appearance, with the endorsement of our customers in the food industry who rely on our distinguished reputation and definitive judgment.
