The Hodogaya Chemical Group celebrates its 110th anniversary in 2026. Since our founding in 1916, we have inherited as our DNA the spirit of “Honpo Koshi (Japan’s first),” having introduced numerous pioneering products to the world. Building on this history of continuous challenge, we currently pursue our Management Philosophy: “Through constant innovation of chemical technology, we will provide high-quality products and services throughout the world and contribute to the creation of an environmentally conscious society.”<\/p>\n

To further accelerate this progress and remain a presence that continuously meets the expectations of society, we have established our PURPOSE: “Your Dream is Our Business.”<\/p>\n

Now, as society faces a major turning point, we have launched our new five-year plan, “CODE\/CHORD 2030<\/a>“, starting in FY2026, to create a future with our own hands that is not merely an extension of the past.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Accelerating Transformation and Paving the Way for Sustainable Growth<\/h2>\n

Over the next five years, we will embody our VISION, “Refining Originality, Co-creating the Future,” and boldly create value that will serve as the foundation for our next generation of growth.<\/p>\n

First, we will further sharpen the “original technology” we have cultivated over many years. By refining our unique technological capabilities that cannot be imitated by others, we will solidify our competitive advantage in growth areas essential to the sustainable development of society, such as semiconductor materials and raw materials for nucleic acid therapeutics\u2014the next generation of pharmaceuticals.<\/p>\n

At the same time, we will strongly promote “co-creation” with external partners, customers, and research institutions. By fusing diverse expertise, we will achieve innovations that a single company could not accomplish alone, delivering new value that exceeds the expectations of our customers worldwide. Furthermore, regarding collaboration with our overseas subsidiaries, we intend to build a framework that maximizes group synergies, thereby enhancing our competitiveness in the global market.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
