Our officers and employees take the lead in performing the guidelines to earn higher level of social trust, aiming to become a more attractive company.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<div class=\"crpmsn-box\">\n<ul class=\"listbox_1\">\n<li>Ensure fair and healthy business activities while complying with laws, internal rules and social norms.<\/li>\n<li>Provide high-quality and socially useful products and service paying more attention to the safety.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain fair and open relationships with stakeholders and ensure fair trade.<\/li>\n<li>Respect personality and individuality of our employees and create a safe and great workplace environment.<\/li>\n<li>Actively work for environmental preservation through the effort toward resource saving and energy saving.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"a8\" class=\"boxInner pagenailink\">\n<h2 class=\"mt40 text_c\">Procurement Policy<\/h2>\n<div class=\"boxsub mb30\">\n<h5 class=\"rsk-t\">1.\tCompliance with Laws and Regulations and Social Norms<\/h5>\n<p>Hodogaya Chemical Group (the &#8220;Group&#8221;) sets forth compliance with laws and regulations, internal regulations and social norms in its \u201cCorporate Action Guidelines\u201d, and the Group and its officers and employees realize their social responsibilities and conduct their business activities. The Group conducts its business in its procurement activities in a sincere and fair manner.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"boxsub mb30\">\n<h5 class=\"rsk-t\">2.\tImplementation of Environmentally Conscious Procurement Activities<\/h5>\n<p>The Group is committed to managing the chemical substances of raw materials, reducing their environmental impact, and implementing procurement activities adapted for social requirements.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"boxsub mb30\">\n<h5 class=\"rsk-t\">3.Provision of Fair Transaction Opportunities<\/h5>\n<p>The Group is opening its doors to its suppliers and providing transaction opportunities in comprehensive consideration of the following that is economically reasonable in accordance with justice and fairness: <br \/>\n    <span class=\"indent txtblock\">(1) competitive quality, price, delivery time and supply stability;<\/span><br \/>\n    <span class=\"indent txtblock\">(2) objective criteria such as management stability, reliability and technological capabilities of its suppliers; and<\/span><br \/>\n    <span class=\"indent txtblock\">(3) activities of its suppliers relating to social responsibilities<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"boxsub mb30\">\n<h5 class=\"rsk-t\">4.Deepening of Communications with Supply Chain<\/h5>\n<p>To deepen communications with the supply chain, the Group sets forth the \u201cProcurement Guidelines\u201d and plans to share its understanding based on the guidelines with its suppliers.
